Make the most of your site . . . .
Your FreeLocal site has the potential to earn the webmaster a significant and regular income. here are a few pointers to help you achieve your aim.

Identify your area . . . set your pages to reflect this. Local advertising is more important to the majority of your customers than national advertising. Local newspapers supply a natural geographical business area via their distribution.
Be prepared . . . for the instant growth. Create an Email system personalised to show your customer that you are running your area from a 'local' base. [ie: enquiries@yourtownweb.co.uk]. If running a larger area, ensure that you can select specific areas by creating several distribution lists.
Getting started . . . It is important to place content on the site immediately to encourage advertisers and users. Use a local directory, either printed format or web format, to identify your potential customer and the . . . Offer a Free Link. If your client does not have a web-site, offer to create one for them.
